Yesterday was a super fun and special day! I had my first morning as President of my BNI Chapter!
Over the last almost 18 months, being part of this group has been SO valuable for me both professionally and personally. It’s of course brought in new business and income, but beyond that I have a sense of community, structure and regularity in my self-employed life that was missing before. I’m building friendships in that team and I’m learning and growing as a business owner.
I’m SUPER excited for what the year ahead will hold, and very proud to have been given the chance to lead this group of dynamic, generous and highly skilled professionals!
I’ll be working together with an amazing leadership team; especially Vice-President Nigel Standish, a fantastic Business Coach, and Secretary / Treasurer Alyson Gale who is a brilliant Family Lawyer:
And yes, the leaders are awesome, but honestly, this whole chapter is filled with amazing humans. I feel very fortunate to have found them and to get to spend every Thursday morning hanging out and discovering how we can help one another grow.
